Impossible until it's done
A career in tech requires us to be comfortable with ambiguity, and resilient in the face of adversity.
I started my Product Management career in 2006. I very quickly learned that my ability to navigate ambiguity and demonstrate resiliency would be central to my professional success. In part because the vision and goals we take-on as professionals in start-up environments are “impossible” - Problems are ill-defined. Products are immature. Teams are not well formed. Budgets are small. Timelines are short. Executive and Board expectations are high.
As I embark on this new blog, I’ll share lessons and observations in managing B2C, Marketplace and Subscription Products and teams in early- to growth- stage startups.
